Tissier is the room where you will never want to close your door; the room opens onto dar’s ‘dynamic’ library, and the library almost blends with the room. Tissier has 2 windows onto Kahia Street, with a central bed, reading area and a desk; even if the library itself could act as a private co-working space. Room Tissier, is named after Joseph-Ferdinand Tissier (1856-1923) and Elise Asch Tissier (1854-1917), both Porcelain decorators, who founded the Tissier workshop in Nabeul 1898. They were the first ceramists, who dared blend local and European glazing techniques.
